The most epic cyclocross battle and a new EF Gone Racing Documentary
This week’s newsletter involves a podcast and video doc with Lachlan Morton, as well as a look back at one of the most epic cyclocross battles for years. We have training tips for New Years Resolutions and the potential of some new tech on the horizon too. Enjoy!
Hello,
Welcome to another N+1 Newsletter, we hope you all had a great Christmas. Just like last week, this newsletter is coming at you from a car on a random road in northern England. I’m currently en-route to Stansted Airport to fly back to Girona.
I’ve been knocked out by some sickness since I’ve been in the UK. I’ve only ridden three times in eight days, each time less than two hours in duration. I picked up some sort of flu that’s going around and spent a lot of the Christmas period in bed.
Given that it’s currently raining cats and dogs, I’m excited to get back to the warmth of the Catalan sun.
Happy Pedalling,
Joe
Feel free to email me at joe@nplus1.cc if you have any questions, or feel I’ve missed something that is worth putting in the Newsletter.

WVA vs MVDP: The Showdown on Mud
Wout van Aert and Mathieu van der Poel added another epic battle to their ever growing list this past weekend in Zolder. Wheel-to-wheel racing coming into the last lap, a late mechanical from his competitor ensured that Wout van Aert took the win.
If you have an hour, go back and watch the race.

Christmas Riding?
Are you a Christmas Day rider? For some it’s a long trodden tradition, for others its a big no-no. Personally, I’ll always take a day away from training and only go for a ride if I want to. Almost every year, barring awful weather, I’ll get out and do one or two hours on country lanes.
But, Remco Evenepoel and his 100km Christmas rainy ride? I’m not sure.
