Hello,
Iāve got some big news, I crossed over to the dark side today: gravel. While it was only a recovery ride, it could spell the start of some new racing for me next year. Itās no secret that I donāt quite know what Iāll be doing in 2023.
I still havenāt signed a pro deal next year, and Iām not the only one in this situation. Itās quite a stressful time on the rider market. What will next year bring? More gravel, more independent racing and probaably more fun. But, I can guarantee that Iāll be racing hard. I wrote something about it all on my own Substack!
This weekās newsletter includes the release of a bike Iāve been anticipating for a very long time, the Colnago V4Rs. Just look at it with those ENVE wheels!!
Happy Pedalling,
Joe

Living on your bike
Weāve all heard of living in your car, but how about living on your bike? You read that right, living on your bike.
One man in New York City is attempting eco-minimalism, and one part of that is living by bike. Iām not even sure if Iāve got words to explain this one, itās perhaps the most random story Iāve come across in my whole time of building this newsletter.

What the e-bike?
What have e-bikes ever done for me? A very good question that a few years ago would have had many of us sneering. E-bikes have gone through quite the reputation change over the past three years, and it is now the most booming part of the cycling industry.
This article takes a look at 14 benefits of riding electric, will you be buying one?

New SRAM groupset
Thereās a new SRAM road groupset coming. Although they wonāt say officially, itās been rumoured for a while now and a few of my sources in the industry are saying it will be sooner rather than later.
Itās almost four years since they launched their first 12 speed groupset, so itās about time they brought another to market! The first signs were spotted at the Antwerp CX World Cup, take a look for yourselfā¦
