This week’s newsletter is glitz and glamour. There’s a gold leaf bike and a half million dollar solid gold bike too. We also take a look at an epic bikepacking trip in an unusual location, get an insight into what nutrition to use and find out how to have one last bike ride, even after you’ve died
Hello,
Welcome to the N+1 Newsletter. I’m finally back in Girona after what feels like an eternity in the UK. The weather here in Catalonia has very much turned. It feels as if I left in late summer and I’ve returned to winter!
Training has very much recommenced for me. Today we headed to the coast, up and over Sant Grau, into Tossa de Mar and then back to Girona. The group turned right back into town and I had another hour to do so headed up and down Els Angels alone.
Nothing beats riding along the coast here. The roads are smooth, the corners flow nicely and the view is unrivalled. It also has the benefit of being much, much warmer than the mountains this time of year.
Happy Pedalling,
Joe
