Denim cycling shorts make a return and a Rouleur Live round-up
This weekās newsletter goes all around the cycling world. In our āIntroducingā section we look at BJÅRN who offer some of the lightest carbon components on the market. Thereās denim cycling shorts, all the tech from Rouleur Live and the āfinal stageā of this yearās Tour de France. My personal highlight, the costume from the Muddy Hell Halloween CX in London!
Hi,
Welcome to an N+1 Newsletter from northern England. Thatās right, I am back at the family home and while itās nice, itās a bit cold. I headed out on the bike this afternoon and it was a weird middle ground. I was dressed for deep winter (thatās the Girona in me) but the distinct lack of fitness meant I quickly heated up.
Iāve spent the last weekend at Rouleur Live and it was some experience. For those of you who donāt know, Rouleur Live is a cycling show in London touching all sides of the industry. There are pros, brands, fans and journalists all under one roof. It was a lot of fun.
Iāve got two weeks here in Lincolnshire now, getting my training and fitness back on track before flying back home to Girona.
Happy Pedalling,
Joe
Feel free to emailĀ meĀ at joe@nplus1.cc if you have any questions, or feel Iāve missed something that is worth putting in the Newsletter.

The Tour de France in November?
Every year, the Tour de France organisers fly all the star riders to Asia to take part in some exhibition criteriums. However much the organisers try to push otherwise, these races are effectively fixed to make the stars win.
Still, it is a great cross-continent event that allows riders and fans alike to have a great time. Plus, there are always some interesting photos!

Denim Cycling Shorts
Denim. Cycling. Shorts. āJortsā have a bad enough name as it is, mix them with lycra and weāve perhaps got a recipe for disaster. To be fair to Rosti, the Italian brand behind the kit, they know how to turn heads. Theyāre responsible for AG2Rās brown shorts too, so could we soon see Jorts at the Tour de France?
